You can view the recording of the May 12 web seminar in two ways at this web page (Recording ID: Seminarll and Attendee key: 650650). Click the top link "Microsoft Office LiveMeeting Replay" to view the audio and video, using the media player to advance, forward or pause the recording. Or, click the second link "Basic Recording with per-slide audio" to scroll through all 161 slides - this shows the individual slide layouts, and how I built the animation over the sequence of slides. |

| During the seminar I described how you can write your script using a Word document. Another option is to write your story completely within PowerPoint using a unique Story Editor included in the Sociable Media PowerPoint Add-In. When you're done writing, simply click a button and you have an instant, pre-formatted storyboard. I worked with NetCentrics, an experienced Microsoft developer, to incorporate many of the ideas in Beyond Bullet Points into the Add-In to save you time. To receive $5 off for seminar attendees, or try it at no cost for 30 days, click here. (Offer good through May 31, 2005) |

| In addition to viewing the recording as described above (with the media player or by scrolling through the 161 slides), I'm also glad to share the Word story template that I used for the presentation, as well as my initial PPT storyboard. As an added bonus, I've prepared a special PDF of the Notes Page view of the slides from the "5-minute version," so you can see an example of the BBP approach in practice - download it here (1.5 MB). Unfortunately I can't provide the complete PPT file, but if you have special requests or want training on how to do it, contact me. | ||||||||

| Thanks for your great questions during the seminar - I wish I were able to make a presentation and answer questions simultaneously, but the best I could do was to answer 25 of them in the special seminar discussion area here. They cover topics such as presenting complex information, and the sources of the research and quotations I used. If your question is not posted or answered on the board, please post it and I'll be glad to answer it there. | ||||||||

| I received a number requests for in-person workshops or presentations, and I'm happy to put together a proposal if you contact me here. If you enjoyed the online presentation format, I also conduct online workshops. For smaller groups, we can share documents online and actually write your story and create your storyboard during the session. If you're interested, let me know> | ||||||||
